Friendship is the brick needed to develop the building called companion ship and so to raise the building to great heights this basic bricks are mandatory. Each and every soul longs for friendship. One loving friend is enough for us to live our lives happily without any hardened problems in this enemity and sorrow struck world. Like how John Watson always sticks to Sherlock Holmes even though Mr.Holmes show off nature is really annoying, We always need atmost one friend like him to be our best pal and be with us in every corner of life and not the one who stabs at your back by sharing your secrets and weakness to others who are waiting for your death by digging your grave slowly and steadily.
We always love to share many secrets to our close friends that includes me too. We may even avoid to share certain things even to our better half but we are so ready to share it with our pals because they are the most trusted people in the world and that's the world renowned fact. We ought to share our home sick parental problems, our future and about our crush too to our friend. He too believes the fact that we don't hide anything from him and he feels so proud of it. But what happens when he comes to know that you were hiding one secret for many long years and that's the most prominent thing in your life. Surely he will be disappointed. He automatically starts developing many doubts in his own mind that whether his best friend considers him as not the trust-worthy person he wanted to be in his life. He will start maintaining a distance from you. Since he knows your secret you get the enigmatic feeling that he will share that one particular secret to others that you were hiding for many decades. You will start doubting your own friend that you believed for so many years. So the conclusion is a gap starts developing between the two and ultimately ending in seperation and rise of strong enmity between the two
Stories apart. Today am gonna share my opinion about a malayalam movie. Honestly, this is the first malayalam movie I ever watched. I have the necessity to confess this at this point of time.
Am gonna share my views about the movie "MUMBAI POLICE" with you guys..
The lead role of the movie .is played by Prithviraj. It fits in to the genre crime thriller.Prominent performances are given by Rahman and Jayasurya. The megaphone is handled by Roshan Andrrews and cinematography by R.Diwakar. Back ground score by Gopi Sunder and editing by Mahesh Narayanan
The opening scene of the movie starts with a bewildered introduction of ACP Antony Moses(Prithiviraj) getting into an accident and as a consequence of it suffering from partial memory loss. Before the accident he hinted that he has found out the culprit behind the assassination of his best friend assistant commissioner Aaryan John Jacob (Jayasurya) (Assistant Commisioner) who was killed at the gallantry award ceremony at parade ground using a long rifle.He told that he has solved the case to his senior officer Farhan Ashraf (Rahman).Antony Moses after his treatment gets over forgets his past completely and starts facing everything just as a new born child. He is not aware of his past and he doesn't know who were his enemies and friends. He had no clue when he was confronted by the thugs whom he had dealt with before. He even forgets his own sister and brother-in-law Farhan Ashraf. Then Farhan starts explaining Antony Moses's past life of all the sad incidents he faced in his life and he was brought into this crime scene. Antony Moses after hearing his past stories first shows his hesitation but Farhan showed faith in Antony Moses and wanted him to take over the case again.So he decides to take over the case again.. He starts realising how arrogant he was before the accident.. His investigations continue at nice speed.. During Investigation he realises there are lot of changes that needs to be done to the facts and suspects in the investigation report which was reported by him before the accident... Whether he solves the mystery behind his best friend's assassination..?? Who was the killer..?? What was his motive forms the rest of the plot..
Performance wise Prithiviraj was at his potential best. He has glued to the character of Antony Moses so well before and after partial memory loss. The performance which was so eye-catching was Jayasurya's role of Aaryan John Jacob. He played the role so delicately and sometimes you will be pushed into the feel that Jayasurya has out smarted Prithiviraj in some scenes too. He has done his role so neatly. Personally loved his characterisation so much. Rahman was at his usual best. His performance towards climax will be so awesome to watch.
The thing which I need to mention the most is the climax. I assure you that you may find the culprit behind Aaryan's murder but I guarantee you that you would not have imagined that what provoked him to commit this murder. you will be surely suprised and shocked to see this sort of a climax as you would not have expected this in a south Indian movies.
Actually this film cannot be directly remade as Tamil film because our tamil audience wont quite like the reason behind the murder..I am very proud enough to confess that nowadays if you want to watch a good south Indian movie with meaningful content I will surely guide you to watch malayalam movies as they deliver their genius stories with awesome screen play such as this movie to take as an example.
This movie is surely a worth to watch and should not be given a miss at any cost. Critically acclaimed with commercial elements added brilliantly.
